You will ensure compliance with policies and investor standards, and may coordinate closing and funding, including calculating closing costs. The role demands strong knowledge of loan documentation, ability to work with legal staff on complex needs, and mastery of the bank's documentation software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience with loan/lease processing documentation.
• Ability to work with legal staff to solve complex documentation needs.
• Ability to apply critical thinking for all elements of loan documentation construction.
• Ability to master the bank's documentation software.
• Understanding of closing policies, funding policies, underwriting requirements, and governmental/agency requirements.
• Understanding of applicable credit policies and approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of loan/lease packages in compliance with policies and investor standards.
• Gather and review documents within designated time frames and respond to inquiries from staff, customers, realtors, brokers, counsel, and title companies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory and investor requirements and customer service standards.
• May coordinate closing and funding of loan packages; calculate final closing costs and disburse funds.
