Job summary

Farmers & Merchants Bank of Central California in Lodi seeks a Loan Associate IV to accurately board and service consumer and commercial loans. The role requires knowledge of loan operations, strong customer service, and the ability to extract pertinent information from loan documents.

You will input loans into the core accounting system, perform quality checks, monitor loan activity, post GL transactions, and reconcile loan accounts while maintaining internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college-level courses preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in loan boarding or loan accounting.
• Knowledge of loan documents and ability to extract information accurately.
• Experience with banking PC applications; Jack Henry preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Input consumer and commercial loans and related transactions.
• Perform quality control checks in the Loan Boarding department.
• Monitor and track loans to ensure accurate billing and status.
• Post GL transactions and reconcile loan accounts.
• Answer questions, perform research, and maintain loans as needed.
