Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies in Fort Walton Beach, FL seeks an experienced Loads Engineer to lead system-level structural analysis for air-launched effects and munitions. You will build full-vehicle FE models, perform MIL-STD-8591 analyses, and correlate results with ground tests through design reviews.

The role collaborates with Structures, Aerodynamics, Propulsion, GNC, and Systems Engineering to ensure robust performance across launch, flight, and terminal conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• 8+ years of system-level structural and dynamics analysis in a program-driven environment.
• Experience building full-vehicle finite element models for loads and dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain full-vehicle structural models for loads and vibration analysis.
• Perform MIL-STD-8591 store carriage, suspension, and separation analyses.
• Guide ground testing to validate models against data.
• Document procedures and results for design reviews (PDR, CDR).
• Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate results into vehicle design.
