Material Security, Inc. is seeking an experienced security leader to own detection, response, and system-wide hardening across our corporate stack. You will design LLM-driven triage, manage a Mac fleet with modern EDR, and strengthen identity/SaaS and Google Workspace governance.

You will collaborate with Engineering to ship detections to customers and raise the bar for proactive defense in a remote-first environment based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in corporate or enterprise security with hands-on ownership of a SIEM, detection content, and incident response.
• Strong Python, Go, or TypeScript skills used against vendor APIs to automate enforcement.
• Deep understanding of OAuth, SAML/OIDC, session and token lifecycles, and cloud IAM.
• Experience managing a Mac fleet with modern MDM and EDR; enforce BYOD posture.
• Experience building or evaluating LLM-driven security workflows and measuring results.
• Collaborative, practitioner mindset; able to work with junior engineers and drive automation.

Responsabilités

• Own corporate telemetry and the detection content on it, close coverage gaps, reduce noise, and build detections for sensitive areas.
• Design and build an LLM-driven triage agent with explicit evaluation and safety controls.
• Manage Mac endpoint detection and EDR; automate updates and enforce BYOD posture.
• Oversee Identity and SaaS security, maintain phishing-resistant authentication, and automate access reviews.
• Govern Google Workspace security, including Apps Script governance, sharing, and DLP; ship detections into product.
• Bridge corporate and production with just-in-time access and detailed logging.
