Job summary

Material Security, Inc. is seeking a senior security engineer to own detection, response, and LLMed triage across our Mac fleet, IdP, and SaaS estate. You will build automated defenses, reduce risk from privileged access, and partner with Engineering to ship improvements based on frontline learnings.

You will work in a remote-first environment, shaping our security posture for customer trust and incident containment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on corporate security or detection and response ownership.
• Deep understanding of OAuth, SAML/OIDC, and token lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript interfacing with vendor APIs.
• Experience building LLMed-driven workflows with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Own corporate telemetry and detection content; close coverage gaps.
• Design and build an LLMed triage agent with safety limits.
• Lead endpoint and identity security across Macs, Google Workspace, and SaaS.
• Collaborate with Engineering to translate learnings into product improvements.
