Job summary

Better Living is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and support daily clinical operations under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician.

The role requires completing an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license, and strong communication and compassion. You'll work in an indoor, climate-controlled assisted living setting, with emphasis on person-centered care and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of accredited practical nursing program.
• Active, unencumbered LPN license in state of practice; compact license may be acceptable.
• Prior supervisory or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and confidentiality with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to residents per care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor health conditions and report changes to RN/provider and family.
• Document care and observations in the EHR.
• Supervise and guide care providers and RA’s.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team; participate in care plan meetings.
