Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare and cook meals for residents under the guidance of the Food Service Director. You will provide high-quality dining that respects resident preferences and dietary needs, in compliance with food safety and sanitation rules.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Food service experience in hospitality, country club, or senior living industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks meals for residents under the direction of Food Service Director.
• Maintains a professional appearance, manner, and approach while on duty.
• Promotes a safe and sanitary environment and reports hazards.
• Assists in planning, review and revision of menus and menu cycles; develops recipes.

Education
