Job summary

Discovery Senior Living, Mt. Pleasant, SC, is hiring a Server to deliver friendly, timely meal service to residents and guests in a warm dining environment. The role supports daily dining operations with attention to cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.

Occupies a full-time position with weekday and rotating weekend schedules at 937 Bowman Rd, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Pays $16–$18 per hour with opportunities for growth and staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred.
• Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, and team members.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift trays, dishes, and supplies (up to 25–50 lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections.
• Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers as needed.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
