Job summary

Discovery Management Group at The Veranda Club in Boca Raton is seeking a part-time Server to provide warm, timely dining service to our senior residents and guests.

You will maintain a clean, inviting dining area, assist with menu knowledge, and support orientation of new staff while upholding high standards of hospitality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred.
• Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, guests and team members.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections.
• Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers as needed.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.
