Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Server for Spring Mill Senior Living in Phoenixville, PA. You will provide warm, attentive dining service, helping create a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

This full-time role offers a consistent 7a-3p schedule with every other weekend, and a pay rate of $16 per hour. Prior dining or hospitality experience and comfort with seniors are highly valued, along with strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in dining or hospitality preferred.
• Experience working with seniors and strong customer service.
• Able to interact professionally with residents and staff.
• Attentive to cleanliness and safety.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food.
• Ensure residents are satisfied with meals and dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials and menus.
• Set up and maintain dining room tables and side stations.
• Follow cleaning schedules and food handling procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers.
• Maintain appearance and hospitality standards.
• Assist with dining room organization and supply placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
