Job summary

Galloway Senior Living in Kentucky is hiring an LPN for part-time and full-time roles to support memory care and assisted living residents. The LPN will report to the Assisted Living Manager or Memory Care Manager and provide nursing care in collaboration with physicians and other nurses, administer medications and IVs, monitor vital signs, and help coordinate resident care plans.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in long-term care preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to follow all established Federal, State and Local rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Strong command of English to read, write and interpret medical and administration information.

Responsibilities

• Supports mission, core values and goals of the organization.
• Administer medication, change wound dressings and provide nursing care.
• Complete resident charting as required.
• Assist in direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care services.
• Collaborate with doctors and other RNs on patient care plans.
• Research ways to improve healthcare processes and patient outcomes.
