Job summary

Merrill Gardens in Sherwood, Oregon is hiring a Senior Living Registered Nurse to support residents with nursing care in our warm, community-focused setting.

The role requires an active RN license in Oregon and at least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably geriatric care. You will mentor caregiving staff, maintain confidentiality, and coordinate with families and physicians, while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• 1 year nursing experience, geriatric care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to Residents and Team Members, aligning with MG CARES standards.
• Supports and promote Merrill Gardens' philosophy, goals and programs.
• Mentor caregiving team members in resident services.
• Maintains confidentiality towards residents, team members, and visitors.
• Create and maintain a calm, warm environment and positive emphasis throughout the community.
• Provide documentation of services and evaluations per state requirements.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as directed.
• Provide direct care to residents according to identified service needs.
