Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Los Angeles is seeking a Health and Wellness Director to oversee quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care by guiding the wellness staff through communication with residents, families and staff, assuring individualized care.

This role requires experience with seniors, team leadership, and knowledge of medications, with responsibilities including reviewing service plans per state requirements, supervising nursing services, and assessing prospective residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year working with seniors; knowledge of health factors in seniors.
• 2 years people management experience.
• Knowledge of medication, dosage, terminology, and medication side effects.
• Proven track record of integrity, verbal/written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 2 years of Behavioral Management experience.
• LVN license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, continuity and appropriateness of care by guiding the wellness staff through communication with residents, families and staff assuring individual care.
• Review and update service plans according to state requirements.
• Perform and supervise the performance of individual nursing services as required.
• Assess prospective residents to determine care needs and potential residency.
