Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be upbeat, energetic, and caring.
• Enjoy working with the elderly.
• Experience in recreation therapy/activities is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills and EMR familiarity.
• Ability to work well in a team and multi-task.
• Experience with older adults in LTC or skilled care preferred.
• Dementia care certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and lead engaging recreation programs for residents.
• Create and maintain monthly activity calendars with variety.
• Document participation using SigmaCare or PointClickCare.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support individualized care.
• Ensure regulatory standards while promoting a positive environment.
• Organize supplies and assist program areas as needed.
