Job summary

RHF (Retirement Housing Foundation) is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for Mesquite Gardens, a 48-unit senior housing community in Mesquite, TX. You will maintain the property's physical condition and appearance, support the Property Manager, respond to service requests, and assist with apartment turnovers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the building maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair tasks.
• Basic proficiency in English for communication.
• Familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities software.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily interior and exterior maintenance of buildings and common areas.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out when needed.
• Paint and perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Assist with inspections of apartments and systems.
• Respond to work orders, prioritize by urgency, and log details in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies including after-hours and holidays.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, including appliances.
