Job summary

The Orchards at Douglas Cove is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and well-being for our senior residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement occupational therapy programs to promote resident health, wellness, and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
• Conduct home assessments and recommendations for residents to promote safety and independence.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and services.
