Job summary

The Ivy at Berkeley is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents as ordered, following nursing standards and company policies. You will provide direct personal care, encourage resident participation in activities, and coordinate with housekeepers and maintenance staff to support our residents.

Responsibilities include preparing and distributing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, tracking changes and deliveries,

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with medication administration in a care facility.
• Willingness to work with elderly residents and support activities of daily living.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medication records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
