Qualifications

• Must complete an approved Assisted Living Medication Management course and certification.
• Able to think and intervene independently in routine and emergency situations.
• Strong verbal and written English communication required.
• 1–2 years’ experience with the elderly, preferably in a residential setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications safely to assisted living tenants.
• Review tenant service plans and health status with care team.
• Respond to emergency calls and maintain infection control procedures.
• Provide housekeeping support and assist activities of daily living as needed.
• Monitor tenant needs and document changes per procedures.
