Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living - Brighton Gardens of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Part-time Medication Aide/Med Tech. You will administer medications per physician orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during and after passes, and maintain safe, organized medication areas.

CPR/First Aid and medication certs are required or in progress. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, strong documentation and communication skills, and prior senior care experience.

Qualifications

• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
