Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. seeks a dedicated Medication Aide for our Ventura, CA senior living community. You will administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents, observing effects and documenting in medication records per state requirements.

You will support daily living activities, promote resident independence, and communicate observations with the Wellness Director and team. Compassion, organization, and current CPR/medication certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of medication assistance training as required by state regulations.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification per state requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; compassionate patient care.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per state regulations.
• Observes residents after medication administration and documents effects in MARs.
• Communicates any concerns or observations with Wellness Director or designated staff.
• Supports activities of daily living and preserves resident dignity and independence.
