Curana Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to serve as a warm, visible presence within our senior living communities. The role focuses on building relationships with residents, families, and partners while providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers.

The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring delivery of personalized care in a concierge-style setting, coordinating with care teams to enhance resident experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• Outgoing individual who loves interacting with people.
• Organized and effective communicator.
• Experience as a medical assistant in healthcare, preferably geriatric.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as concierge and trusted contact within the senior living community.
• Check in regularly with directors and leaders to align on resident needs.
• Attend community events to connect with residents and families.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and communicate needs to the care team.
• Assist residents with needs, serving as a friendly resource.
• Obtain new resident packets and ensure records are complete and ready for provider.
• Coordinate care between specialists, therapy, home health and others.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling and appointments.
• Conduct monthly outreach with residents and families to assess needs.
• Connect residents with local and regional social support services.
