Charter Senior Living in Bay City, MI is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician / Med Tech to support residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. The role focuses on safe medication administration, helping residents with daily activities, and collaborating with nursing teams to maintain high-quality care.

The ideal candidate has state-registered Med Tech certification and prior experience in senior living environments.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician / Med Tech certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living preferred.
• CNA, caregiver, or direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures.
• Support a positive, team-oriented care environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
