Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support the Coles Landing site in Haddonfield, NJ. The role focuses on preventive and routine maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems, with opportunities to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and maintaining common areas. A high school diploma and HVAC certification are preferred, plus a valid driver’s license and strong troubleshooting abilities.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs proficiency required or preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance, and general repairs.
• Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff when applicable.
• Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
• Comply with all safety regulations and building codes.
