Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking Maintenance Technicians for Riverview Manor, a senior apartment community in Pittsburgh, PA. The role covers routine and preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general systems.

You will diagnose and repair issues, maintain safe common areas, and handle inventory and records while adhering to safety regulations. On-call duties 24/7 are required, with opportunities to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 1–2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities; relevant certifications a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance and general repairs.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff when applicable and manage inventory and records.
