Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for its senior living communities in Texas. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist residents, and help with building and grounds upkeep. Some tasks require independent work with occasional vendor support.

You will troubleshoot maintenance issues, respond to emergencies outside normal hours, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems including fixtures and hot water
• Knowledge of HVAC principles and refrigeration basics
• Ability to operate electrical systems and wiring safely; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing preventative maintenance and resident assistance.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance and troubleshoot maintenance problems.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies outside regular working hours when needed.
