Job summary

Broadway Care & Rehab is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support the facility's physical plant and grounds. The role involves performing routine repairs, floor care, and snow removal, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repairs.
• Skill in performing routine preventive care of systems.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Willingness to be available for on-call emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care of the facility’s physical plant and grounds.
• Perform repairs as directed.
• Collect and dispose of refuse.
• Clean, strip, wax, and buff floors.
• Ensure prompt snow and ice removal.
• Help maintain the physical plant in proper order.
