Job summary

Mansions on Main seeks a Director of Maintenance to lead the upkeep of a senior living community in New Albany, IN. You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs and vendor management to keep facilities safe and comfortable for residents and staff.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Min 2 years of verifiable maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC).
• Strong organizational, time-management and computer skills.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for resident areas.
• Perform maintenance per state guidelines and community needs.
• Process apartment turnovers and vendor services.
• Negotiate vendor quotes and manage service delivery.
• Maintain inventory and secure repair parts and tools.
• Repair/k maintenance of kitchen, housekeeping and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure heating/air-conditioning systems are functioning for resident comfort.
• Inspect and repair structural elements as needed.
• Maintain doors, locks, and resident safety.
