Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Dallas seeks a Building Engineer Assistant to support maintenance operations. You’ll assist with preventative maintenance, basic plumbing, drywall patching, painting and site upkeep, working with the Building Engineer to care for residents and common areas.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in maintenance, strong English communication, and reliability. This full-time role involves shifts that may include weekends and holidays, with a starting wage $22–$24 per

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in apartment, senior living, hotel or comparable setting.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Building Engineer with preventative and routine maintenance as assigned including basic plumbing repairs, dry wall repairs, painting and general upkeep of the community and grounds.
• Maintain upkeep of common areas, ensure exterior sidewalks are free of debris, and assist with trash removal as needed.
• Complete the apartment make ready process in an efficient and detail oriented manner.
• Support resident needs by completing assigned maintenance work order tasks, assist with internal moves as needed.
• Assist with special event set up and clean up as needed.
