Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Dallas is seeking a Building Engineer Assistant to provide maintenance support to the Building Engineer across the community and grounds. You will handle basic plumbing, drywall patching and painting, and assist with general upkeep.

The role requires 1 year of maintenance experience in a senior living or similar setting, a high school diploma, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

Must have 1 year of maintenance experience in related setting.
Ability to read, comprehend, write and do basic math.
Clear verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

Assist the Building Engineer with preventative and routine maintenance including basic plumbing repairs, drywall repairs, painting and general upkeep of the community and grounds.
Maintain upkeep of common areas, ensure exterior sidewalks are free of debris, and assist with trash removal as needed.
Complete the apartment make-ready process in an efficient and detail oriented manner.
Support resident needs by completing assigned maintenance work order tasks, assist with internal moves as needed.
Assist with special event setup and cleanup as needed.
