Job summary

JFS Housing, Inc. seeks a Senior Living LPN / Assistant Director to lead Deerwood assisted living programs, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise staff, manage care plans, coordinate with Director of Assisted Living and RN, and maintain clinical communications with pharmacies, doctors, and families. The role requires an LPN license with 2+ years of leadership, 5–7 years of management experience in lieu of licensure, and an Associates degree.

Qualifications

• LPN license with 2 years of LPN experience and 2 years managing a team.
• 5-7 years of manager experience in lieu of licensure.
• Associates Degree required.
• CBRF certification for medication administration or ability to become certified is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer programs including EMAR and Nurse Call.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Deerwood assisted living programs and ensure high standards of resident care and safety.
• Supervise staff including recruiting, onboarding, and retention; manage coordinations.
• Ensure accurate medication administration and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate training of Resident Assistants and conduct regular audits of MARs.
