Arbor Acres Retirement Community is seeking a Line Cook to join our Dining Arts team in Winston-Salem. You’ll prepare entrees, vegetables, soups, and desserts for residents, guests and events, ensuring high quality and presentation.

The role requires at least two years in a commercial kitchen, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to work quickly while maintaining accurate, clean workstations. Full-time shifts include early mornings and weekends with catering support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience with batch cooking for high-volume service.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality; ServSafe certification within 6 months of hire.
