The position requires coordinating with the Clinical Memory Care Team, supervising staff and volunteers, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Coordinate special events for residents and families.

• Experience in senior living or memory care activities planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities for the residents of Trinity Springs in both individual and group settings.
• Coordinate special community events for residents and families.
• Arrange weekend, evening and holiday activities.
• Promote resident involvement and active decision-making in daily program schedule.
• Complete assessments.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Memory Care Team in the coordination and execution of activities.
• Encourage, support, and assist residents to continue their interests.
• Maintain an open relationship with resident families.
• Observe and document activity attendance, mood, and involvement.
• Transport residents to activities.
• Supervise assistants and volunteers; develop volunteer program.
• Communicate programs and organize events with residents, staff, family and volunteers.
