Job summary

StoryPoint Group seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and perform engaging activities for residents at a senior living community in Michigan. The role supports social welfare and interests of residents through Life Enrichment programming.

The position is part-time (2 days/week: Tuesdays 10am–6pm and Thursdays 10am–4:30pm) with a pay rate of $14.25 per hour. Candidates should have 1–3 years related experience, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, and a compassionate approach toward

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compassionate toward the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
