Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living is hiring a Laundry Aide to perform housekeeping and laundry tasks in a senior living environment in Michigan. You will load and unload washing machines, sort and fold linen, deliver clean laundry, and maintain clean work areas to ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires ability to lift up to 30 pounds, work with English instructions, and communicate well with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Dust mop and damp mop resident rooms, halls and common areas.
• Handle trash and soiled linen properly and use cleaning chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in resident, public and support areas.
• Collect, sort and launder soiled linen; load/unload washers; fold clean linen.
• Deliver clean laundry to assigned units and sanitize work areas.
• Count linen processed daily and ensure satisfaction is maintained.
• Support team with general housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning.
