Covenant Living is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to pick up, sort, launder, and redistribute resident belongings, ensuring proper labeling and coordination with outside dry-cleaning services. You will care for residents' personal items with attention to detail and respect.

You will operate laundry equipment, sort linens, and assist in distributing cleaned items to rooms, while communicating with nursing staff and supervisor about needs and replacements.

Competenze

• 1 year of high school education.
• Good interpersonal and English communication.
• Experience in housekeeping or laundry.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to organize daily duties.
• Make independent decisions in absence of supervisor.
• Interest in and desire to work with older adults.

Mansioni

• Pick up, sort, launder, and redistribute personal laundry for residents.
• Label and prepare items for outside dry-cleaning.
• Operate washing machine and dryer with proper detergents.
• Distribute laundered items to resident rooms and storage.
• Notify supervisor about worn or unusable items.
• Launder linens and assist in distributing house linens.
• Be familiar with housekeeper duties to fill in when needed.
