Job summary

Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Township, PA is hiring a cook to prepare daily dishes for residents, following established menus and dietary needs. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling with shifts 6am-2pm or 10:30am-7pm.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant settings. ServSafe is preferred but not required and we will support training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required; willing to obtain as needed.
• Ability to follow recipes and manage dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily dishes based on established menus while honoring individual dietary needs.
• Produce and plate both planned menu offerings and on-demand meal requests.
• Maintain strict sanitation and handling standards to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
• Contribute to keeping the workspace clean, orderly, and running smoothly.
• Work cooperatively with the dietary staff in a supportive, team-focused atmosphere.
• Help foster a welcoming, pleasant mealtime experience for all residents.
