Job summary

Caring Acres Nursing and Rehab Center in Anita, Iowa, is seeking a compassionate Nursing Home Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with varying shifts, in a supportive kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include dietary-compliant meal preparation, kitchen safety, inventory assistance, menu collaboration with dietary staff, and delivering excellent resident service. Must lift up to 25 pounds and have a Food Handler's Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Valid Food Handler's Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and recipes.

• Assist with food purchasing and inventory management.
