Cedarhurst Senior Living in St. Louis, MO seeks a Director of IT and Privacy to lead the IT function, shape strategy, and ensure HIPAA/SOX compliance across our healthcare communities.

You will build secure, scalable systems, manage a team, oversee privacy programs, and coordinate with Legal and Finance on controls, audits, and vendor risk, supporting our mission to protect resident data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 8–10+ years of IT experience with leadership overseeing IT operations and privacy/security compliance.
• Experience in healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT function, data privacy program, and security controls.
• Oversee HIPAA/SOX IT general controls and privacy compliance.
• Manage enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor risk assessments.
• Partner with Legal and Finance on audits, remediation, and SOX testing.
• Direct incident response planning and data breach coordination.
• Develop policies, training, and governance for privacy and IT security.
