Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living seeks a Director of IT and Privacy to lead the organization’s IT strategy, privacy program, and security posture in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will oversee IT operations, data privacy compliance (HIPAA, SOX), vendor risk management, incident response, and cross‑functional collaboration with Legal and Finance.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity or related field; master's preferred.
• 8–10+ years IT experience with 4+ years in leadership across IT operations and privacy.
• Experience in regulated healthcare environments with HIPAA/SOX familiarity.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy, roadmap and budget aligned with business goals.
• Oversee enterprise data privacy program and regulatory compliance.
• Design and improve cybersecurity across networks and endpoints.
• Coordinate incident response and privacy impact assessments.
• Manage vendor risk assessments and third-party due diligence.
