The Highlands in Topsham, ME is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will plan, organize, and supervise daily operations with support from the Director of Maintenance or Executive Director.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality or senior living, a caring attitude toward seniors, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
• Minimum High School or GED; supervisory experience in hospitality or senior living preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years supervisory experience in hospitality or senior community.
• Criminal background check and drug screenings required.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds; stamina for sustained tasks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, teamwork, and time management.

Responsabilités

• Supervise housekeeping staff to meet schedules, quality standards, and budget.
• Provide training to housekeeping associates.
• Perform cleaning of common spaces and resident rooms.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; inspect for sanitation, safety, and order.
• Keep the department inspection-ready and compliant with regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to plan housekeeping services.
• Oversee move-ins/move-outs; ensure apartments are ready on time.
• Process invoices and payables per policy.
• Attend leadership meetings and participate in training.
• Support resident-centered activity programs.
