Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a dedicated housekeeping staff member to maintain clean and safe resident rooms, common areas, and facilities in accordance with infection control standards. You will follow established schedules, use approved products, and report repairs as needed to ensure a healthy living environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and assisting in emergency spill response while adhering to all safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must meet minimum age requirements as set forth by state and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Must be able to obtain criminal history clearance.
• Must comply with all training requirements.
• Must possess the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning tasks for resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices and wellness areas.
• Dusts surfaces, empties wastebaskets, damp-wipes furniture and cleans fixtures.
• Mops and sanitizes floors; vacuums carpets and spot cleans as needed.
• Follows infection control measures and uses Standard Precautions.
• Stores cleaning products and equipment safely and reports needed repairs.
• Works beyond normal hours when necessary and participates in emergency readiness.
