Job summary

Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to support our resident care environment with routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. This role involves floors, dusting, windows, carpets, furniture arrangement, and general cleaning to uphold a safe, comfortable setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and at least 1 year of related experience; English communication is essential, and candidates must meet physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or general equivalency is preferred.
• 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally with staff, patients' families and customers.
• The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and Mop floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Wash windows.
• Shampoo and vacuum carpets.
• Arrange furniture.
• Clean furniture, equipment, fixtures, and hardware.
