Oakmont of Silver Creek, part of Oakmont Senior Living, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to clean resident apartments and common areas. The role includes laundry duties and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Oakmont of Silver Creek in San Jose, CA. Compensation ranges $18.50–$19.50 per hour and eligible benefits apply. Experience preferred, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal communication skills with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB).
• COVID-related health/safety measures may be required per guidelines.

• Clean resident apartments, public areas, and common areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
