Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to support our Skilled Nursing community. You will maintain resident rooms and common areas, perform laundry, and follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe, homelike environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Grade school education required.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, work areas, and offices.
• Perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing personal and general laundry.
• Follow deep-cleaning schedules and infection control protocols.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, tools, and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Utilize required PPE and ensure it is in good condition.
• Adhere to established cleaning routines and safety procedures.
• Attend required training sessions and staff meetings to support service quality and efficiency.
