Job summary

Willamette Springs Memory Care in Corvallis, OR, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents. You will clean resident apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces, and keep common areas tidy for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include following cleaning schedules, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and maintaining outdoor spaces. Prior experience in healthcare housekeeping is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and chemical safety.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Patience, tact, and professionalism when interacting with residents, staff and visitors.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Familiarity with OSHA cleaning guidelines and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & sanitation of resident apartments, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize common areas, offices, and entryways.
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors per schedule.
• Empty trash from apartments, bathrooms, offices and common spaces.
• Clean patios, courtyards, sidewalks and entryways to maintain neat appearance.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces per infection control standards.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all areas.
