Walnut Grove Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join our team in McAlester. The role involves cleaning patient rooms and common areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment for residents.

You will work a rotating schedule (4 days on; 2 days off) from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for growth and learning in a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally with staff, residents and families.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust surfaces and clean windows.
• Vacuum carpets and arrange furniture.
• Maintain clean patient areas and common spaces.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
