TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join TerraBella Thornblade. The role covers cleaning responsibilities across apartments, common areas, and facilities, maintaining safety and cleanliness in a senior living community.

The job requires the ability to perform physical tasks, work with residents respectfully, and follow established schedules. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Effective communication with residents in the community.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Interest in working with a senior population.
• Courteous and friendly interaction with guests, residents and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas (apartments, common areas, lounges, offices).
• Sweeps, dusts, mops, vacuums floors and runner areas; rotates runners in hallways.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes fixtures; stocks dispensers.
• Scrubs tiles, woodwork, frames, and sills.
• Maintains equipment and materials in clean condition.
• Handles trash collection and laundry duties.
• Ensures chemicals are stored safely and cords/equipment are out of walkways.
• Reports repairs and supply needs to Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.
