Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for the Forest Hills community in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time role from 8am to 4pm focuses on cleaning resident apartments and public areas following established procedures and schedules.

You will also handle laundry in our commercial facilities and contribute to a positive, service-oriented environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas as assigned according to the departmental standards, process and procedures.
• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas.
• Deals tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Follows written and oral instructions for cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Relates information concerning a resident's condition as needed.
• Operates buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums and other laundry equipment.
