Job summary

Compass on the Bay in Boston is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain clean, safe living spaces for our senior residents. You will perform laundry, clean resident apartments weekly, and keep common areas tidy, working closely with a team in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Standing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending.
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Be on time and reliable – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our team to be reliable at all times.

Responsibilities

• Complete laundry and housekeeping according to the assigned schedule.
• Clean residents’ apartments on a weekly basis as assigned and perform emergency housekeeping duties as needed.
• Clean common spaces, furniture and fixtures, and bathrooms. Replenish bathroom supplies in common areas, as needed.
• Take care of equipment used within the department.
• Work with a team to complete assignments.
