Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our Santa Fe senior living community. The role supports a spotless, comfortable living environment for residents and requires adherence to infection control and safety guidelines.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a schedule Tue-Sat, 6:00am–2:30pm, and a pay rate of $18.38 per hour. Benefits and a culture-focused workplace are highlighted throughout the posting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: One year experience in a health care facility preferred.
• Job knowledge: Able to read, write, and speak English; follow instructions; maintain housekeeping safety and cleanliness.
• Team members scheduled for 24+ hours per week are eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks per daily work assignments and housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive work areas.
• Follow infection control practices and safety precautions.
• Clean rooms and common areas; sanitize bathrooms, windows, floors, and fixtures.
• Report hazards, maintain supplies, and store equipment properly.
• Attend departmental meetings and protect resident confidentiality.
